He signed a long-term deal with Nike in 2016 that many at the time said is probably another one of the biggest football shoe deals yet. He has more than 11 million followers on social media, making him one of the NFL’s most marketable players. It’s been predicted that Wilson has the third-best odds at being 2020 NFL MVP.

Quite simply, the best NFL ticket sites should provide two things:

  1. Value
  2. Reliability

That’s it.

  1. Slickdeals strives to offer a comprehensive coverage of the best coupons, promo codes and promotions for thousands of different stores like NFL Game Pass. We have a dedicated team that works around the clock to find, post and verify the offers we present to consumers.
  2. NFL Shop promo codes and online deals: FAQs Does NFL Shop offer a sale? Yes, you can find NFL Shop sale items every day at the 'Clearance' link in the NFL Shop website header menu. In the NFL Shop clearance section, you can save 25%-75% on official NFL items.

Ok, while there’s a bit more to it than that, let’s not make it more complicated than it really is…

  • You want to know what you’re getting, & how much the tickets cost,
  • Save money,
  • And actually receive them in a timely manner

With that in mind, here are the 4 best NFL ticket sites in terms of transparency, reputation, and price:

  1. TickPick
  2. Vivid Seats
  3. Captain Ticket
  4. StubHub

Read our review of toptenreviews.com’s “Best Sports Ticket Sites” review.

This is a subjective review. You’ll notice that I left out things like site navigation and customer service. I also don’t cover every ticket reseller out there.

Seeing is believing. So download our whitepaper and see for yourself which ticket sites have the lowest – and highest – prices.

It’s not that I think that customer service isn’t important. It’s more like the sports ticket buying process being cut and dried. You either get your tickets (on time) or you don’t.

I may be wrong, and it’s not like I have any statistics to prove it – but I believe that not getting your tickets is a rare occurrence. It’s never happened to me, or anyone that I know. It’s also about initial impressions. If you’re ordering tickets from a broker for the first time and something goes wrong, you’ll think they’re the worst.

It won’t matter if it’s a rare instance or not – chances are you’re going to leave a bad review, rant on social media, & swear that you’ll never use them again.

But like I said, this is subjective, so perhaps if it had happened to me I’d be singing a different tune.

Reputation/Reliability

First and foremost, you want to see if the site has a reputation, and also if it’s monitored in any way. There are 2 ways to do this:

  1. See if it’s a member of the National Association of Ticket-Brokers (NATB).
  2. Check its Better Business Bureau rating.

Interestingly enough, StubHub – arguably the most renowned ticket reseller – is not a member of either organization. I’ve included it in this list of best sites for NFL tickets, however, due to its notoriety and status as an official ticketing partner of the NFL.

In addition, we’ve added Yelp ratings as a criterion. Yes, Yelp. While it has its flaws, we believe that the sheer volume of peer reviews should count for something.

Transparency

When is a $100 ticket not a $100 ticket? When you pay for extra service fees at the very end, that’s when. StubHub gives you the option to include fees in the listings when shopping for tickets. TickPick and Captain Ticket tell you up front that there are no extra or hidden fees.

Why sites that say they sell cheap NFL tickets without service fees may cost you more.

Vivid Seats, on the other hand, keep you guessing until the checkout process.

Average cheap seat price
Best nfl promotions history

As is the case throughout this site, here I am comparing the cheapest available seats for any given game (standing room tickets not included). The obvious reason for excluding the more expensive tickets from the average price? If you’re considering the best seats for $300+, you wouldn’t be here.

But low average NFL ticket prices will only benefit you if you go to every game. The average NFL fan however, attends less than 5 games per season.

Why average NFL ticket price doesn’t matter.

What’s more important than having consistently cheap NFL tickets when you go to just a few games each year?

Lowest price frequency

The best NFL ticket sites frequently offer the cheapest ticket on the market place. This is what I consider “frequent”:

In a comparison of 13 major NFL ticket resellers (282 game sample) from 2017-2019, 4 sites combined to have the cheapest (or tied for cheapest) ticket listing 94% of the time.

Think of it as a “sale”. It’s sort of like Macy’s back in its heyday. Their occasional sales attracted loads of shoppers that normally shied away from its somewhat regular high end prices.

So now while there isn’t a single ticket site that offers the lowest price every time, checking the top 4 resellers on a regular basis almost guarantees that you’ll get the best price for any given game.

How much money do the top NFL ticket sites save you?

When these sites did have the lowest listed price, the difference was $18.24 less than average (14.6%).

And since these 4 NFL ticket sites together offered the cheapest ticket 94% of the time, the idea is to use all of them in conjunction. For a family of four, that’s a savings of $73 per game.

Next: By now you should know the which reseller we’re referring to, so here’s more on the website with the cheapest NFL tickets.
